House Post - A couple of rooms

Finally posting some pictures of the new couch. Yay!! We love it and it's so comfortable. I found the pillows this weekend at.....wait for it.....T.J. Maxx of all places. Love finding deals like that. They only had 2 though and I really need one more, so I'm still on the hunt. Also on the hunt for a new rug to go under the couch. Hudson would appreciate it. That concrete is hard!

And I've been saying that I'm going to post pictures of Hudson's nursery forever and I've never done it. So.....here are a few photos of his room.

I framed some of my Dad's old books above his dresser. Turned out really cute. The watercolor above his glider is a tree that Trey painted when he was in 3rd grade. Love it. 

I hung this quilt on the wall. My grandmother, Maw started making this as soon as she found out I was pregnant. She passed away before she was able to finish it, so my sweet Aunt Roberta finished it up, put the backing on and trimmed it out with the ribbon. I love it!!! 

And this is his bathroom. I wanted it to be bright and fun. There's an orange striped rug on the floor that I wasn't able to get in the pic. 

So....there ya go. Progress has been made. I'll post more pics of other rooms later. My main goal right now is finding a rug for the living room and finishing Hudson's playroom. More to come....
