The weather has been beautiful here, so we've been taking full advantage and spending lots of time at the parks around town. Hudson is a climbing machine. The kid will climb on anything. And his imagination is wild. He's always "climbing over a wobbly bridge" or "whoa......I'm falling into the water." and all kinds of stuff like that. Cracks me up.
This big "rock" is a favorite.
This was one of the pretend wobbly bridges
And a real bridge
No fear - climbed all the way to the top of this thing.
Loves the swing too.
Trey was calling him a little Colorado boy when he wore this.
The vest is from Fatty's (pizza) in Breckenridge, CO - one of our favorites.
John Robert snoozes most of the time while we're out and about. If it's noisy and loud - rest assured, he's sounds asleep. I'm thinking he likes noise because he was a NICU baby and got used to people around him all the time.
He's getting a little more wide eyes these days. And he's getting better about holding his head up, but we're still not there yet. I'm thinking the doctors were correct when they said his true age was around 32-33 weeks (instead of 35.5). I think my due date was wrong all along. He smiles a lot these days!
I took Hudson and his best buddy, Fricks to the pumpkin patch yesterday. This is the best one we've found so far. Lots of stuff to do with the kids and it's all FREE. Gotta love that.
Sweet boys holding hands
First stop - the bounce house slide, of course. Hudson ran straight for it.
Fricks wanted nothing to do with it at all.
On to the pumpkins...
He tried this last year too. Sorry buddy - a little heavy for ya.
They had a blast playing in this little jail.
Then the little choo-choo train went by and they zeroed in on it. It's pulled by a tractor.
So......off we went.
We crammed into one little car. Super comfortable.
And this guy driving the tractor was not a timid driver. He was doing donuts and we were holding on for dear life. Not a pleasant ride, but the boys liked it.
Off to run through the pumpkins
I tried to encourage this the most. It was pretty crowded, so at least I could see them when we were out in the pumpkins. I lost Hudson about 4 times over by the bounce houses and hay maze.
Finally talked them into riding in the wagon for a bit.
They were still infatuated with the train and the hay ride.
Fricks wanted to pull Hudson, but he didn't get very far.
Hudson - will you sit still and say cheese for the camera just one time??
Thanks so much.
Still watching the crazy train driver do donuts.
Silly boy
Still looking at it..............
It started to get super crowded around noon, so we headed back to the car for a little picnic on the tailgate before driving home.
Such a great pumpkin patch! If you're in the D/FW area, I highly recommend it.
Happy Halloween to everyone!!
I'm off to Hudson's school for his Halloween party. Lots of pics to come.

I can't believe how big JR is getting!! Such a cutie!! And Hudson just cracks me up!!
We used to go to that pumpkin patch! Great photo opps. Looks like y'all picked a good day because there is usually a gabillion people there. JR is getting to be a big guy. Yeah for Hudson being a dare devil climbing machine. My wuss of a girl is so timid about those things. Pinterest=love
Good thing Hudson was in the bright yellow vest. I am sure it made it easier to spot him! And I totally understand the lack of blogging. It is HARD to find the time now!
