Trey took Hudson out to the ranch one day to hang out with some of his cousins. They had a great time exploring all over! He asks to go out there at least once a week now. Mostly because he wants to play with the big boys.
I don't think I ever posted pictures from Easter. Here's a few. Lots of cousins in town to play and celebrate. Lots of Easter egg hunts. Lots of candy. And lots of playtime.
These two are always so cute together. I love that they're only 6 weeks apart.
Just in case you were wondering where Hudson gets his curls from.....
The Easter Bunny was good to them this year.
Someone was sleepy, but he loved his toys. Which were really from Gan-Gan and Grandaddy.
And on to soccer...which seems to consume our Saturdays now.
Lined up and ready to play....and I use that term very loosely. You'll see what I mean.
Tired already and wanting a snack. Please notice the rest of the team about to play.
This is what he and Sheldon would rather do.
But we force them to be team players.
Sometimes that works.....and sometimes it doesn't.
But, they've had a great time together! Best buds, for sure.
All in all, I'm glad Hudson's getting the experience. Next year will be much better since he'll know what to expect. He and Sheldon are the youngest on the team....by far. They just turned 3 and everyone else is 4.5 or 5. So.....they've done pretty well!
After soccer, we're usually rushing to eat lunch and heading off to a birthday party. I think we've had at least one bday party every single Saturday since early March. Shew!
I took John Robert on his first train ride a few weekends ago. He loved it!
He's getting to be such a big boy.
Eating puffs and Mum-Mums.
And even standing on the couch by himself. He's propped up on the pillow, but he stood there for several minutes watching the rain outside.
He's rolling a lot now and I'm trying to get him interested in crawling. He's starting to imitate his big brother a lot lately. I'm not sure if I should be happy or scared about that.
He's also got 4 teeth now and still drooling like crazy.
We went to the lake yesterday for our first boat ride of the season. John Robert took a nap while we cruised around. He'll get to go next time.
He even got to drive.
Many more days at the lake to come. I can't wait!
Do y'all know the book, Zoomer?? This is Hudson's attempt at sliding down the stair rail....just like Zoomer does in the book. Nice.
And I think that just about wraps up everything we've been doing lately.
I don't feel like I've had a moment to myself in ages. Between work and kids stuff, there's no time. I know-I know....I need to make time. A pedicure would be very nice! Maybe this weekend.
Thank you all for your sweet comments about John Robert's surgery. I'm touched by how many people have reached out to us. And even more amazed at how many people we have praying for us.
Thank you so much!
xoxo
Sara

I am behind on catching up! Glad things are well. I know we had mentioned getting together this weekend but John's parents came up a week early and I know you are super busy. We will make time soon! Keep me updated on the surgery. Love all the pictures. You have such a beautiful family.
